Defeated play-off semi-finalists for the last two seasons, Karl Robinson's Dons start afresh against the Latics.
Trips to Bournemouth (August 21) and newly-promoted Swindon (August 25) follow before Carlisle become the second team to visit stadium:mk on September 1.
Robinson will pit his wits against relegated Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on October 2, swiftly followed by the visit of beleaguered Portsmouth on October 6.
A trip to Doncaster on December 22 precedes a busy festive period with a home game against Walsall lined up for Boxing Day before the Sky Blues come to town on December 29.
New Year's Day sees the Dons travel to challenge Keith Curle's Notts County. The curtain comes down on the new campaign with a local derby match at Stevenage on April 27.
