Morecambe boss Jim Bentley was once again left bemoaning his side's luck following the 2-2 draw at home to Burton.

Albion got back into the game with a wicked deflection by Nick Fenton from a Billy Kee free-kick to make it 1-1 after Lewis Alessandra had given the Shrimps the lead after 31 minutes.

Bentley said: "For one I wasn't convinced it was a free-kick and for another the ball could have gone anywhere after it hit Nick but it went in the back of the net.

"That is typical of the way things are going for us at the minute and I am hoping it changes sooner rather than later. We haven't won for a while now and I think you could see that there was a lack of confidence at times in our side which is understandable after such a bad run.

"But there were definitely some pleasing signs because we played some great football at times and if we can get a bit of luck and start putting more of our chances away things will change for the better I'm sure. We are certainly going in the right direction. The effort and commitment is there but we certainly need a win to give us a confidence lift."

The game finished 2-2, with Gary McDonald equalising for the Shrimps.
