Jim Bentley was the happier of the two managers as Morecambe twice came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw at Bradford.
Three goals in five minutes provided a thrilling finish to the match at Valley Parade, with Kevin Ellison having the last word against his former loan club as he netted his 12th goal of the season in stoppage time.
Bentley said: "We deserved a point because of the hard work we put into the game. We had a bit of luck with the own goal for our first equaliser, but we soaked up a lot of pressure and were still able to hit them on the break.
"With a better choice of ball in the final third of the field we could have done better, but it was a fair result on the evidence of play and I am pleased with the point.
"We have done well on our travels this season with only two defeats, playing three at the back and hitting teams on the break. Now we need to sort out our home form."
