Sheffield United's new signing Tony McMahon was on the scoresheet as his new side defeated Morecambe 2-0 at the Globe Arena.
Danny Wilson's Blades continued their unbeaten pre-season campaign and they went in front after 28 minutes when McMahon received the ball from Michael Doyle and shifted the ball onto his left foot before curling an inch-perfect shot into Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche's goal.
The Blades dominated the second half, with Roche denying Stephen Quinn, smothering the ball when the Blades midfielder was put through.
The second goal arrived two minutes from time, this time Quinn turned provider, playing Joe Ironside in and he produced a cool finish to chip over the onrushing Roche.
