We're into the second round of group matches in our video-game version of Euro 2008. It's time for the Germans to get back on track...
It's Day Six of games-console Euro 2008 and after savouring a victory for Portugal over the Czech Republic, we're back in Austria. Here's a reminder of the results so far in Group B:
Austria 1 Croatia 1
Germany 1 Poland 1
Thursday 12 June
Croatia v Germany
It's joy for Croatia after 42 minutes in Klagenfurt as Ivica Olic tricks Per Mertesacker in the box and finishes coolly to give Slaven Bilic's side the lead.
But Germany are transformed after the interval and shortly after a Miroslav Klose effort squirms agonisingly across the face of goal, Mario Gomez hits a quickfire double on 67 and 72 minutes to turn the game around and take him to the top of the scoring charts.
Final score: Croatia 1 Germany 2.
Austria v Poland
The hosts' golden boy Andreas Ivanschitz lights up Vienna with a 13th-minute belter from the edge of the box, and the Poles muster little in response except for a Dariusz Dudka effort that goes just wide.
An injury to Ebi Smolarek appears to further hinder their chances but his replacement Tomasz Zahorski enjoys a stroke of good fortune on 80 minutes as Jurgen Macho spills a shot and presents him with a gift-wrapped equaliser.
Final score: Austria 1 Poland 1.
Germany have four points now and are as good as through, but two draws for both Austria and Poland have put them in joint second, while Croatia are bringing up the rear with one point. Back to the Group of Death next...
