Ipswich Town will be without midfielder Grant Leadbitter for the visit of Championship play-off hopefuls Cardiff on Tuesday night.

Leadbitter collected his 10th booking of the season during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Blackpool and will begin a two-match suspension.

Manager Roy Keane said: "Grant has picked up some silly bookings for dissent and he's only got himself to blame. He's an important player for us but he's out and we have to get on with it."

Owen Garvan is likely to take Leadbitter's place alongside David Norris in the centre of midfield as Town look for a win to keep their heads clear of the relegation zone.

Goalkeeper Richard Wright could be named on the bench after overcoming a knee injury but Argentinian winger Luciano Civelli is not expected to be back from his knee surgery until September.
