Bradford avenged their defeat at Aldershot to record their second successive win under Peter Taylor with a 2-1 victory at Valley Parade.

The visitors went in front after eight minutes when Anthony Straker fired home at the far post after Bradford keeper Matt Glennon failed to hold Scott Donnelly's angled shot.

However, Bradford equalised five minutes later with a superb header from leading scorer James Hanson who dived to reach Michael Flynn's cross at the far post.

Omar Daley then put Bradford in front after 22 minutes with a fine left-foot shot from the edge of the area after Luke O'Brien's cross was diverted into his path.

Aldershot pressed for an equaliser in the second half and ought to have levelled when substitute Marlon Jackson headed wide with the goal at his mercy.
