Liverpool forward Lazar Markovic is the subject of interest from Fenerbahce, who have reportedly tabled a £20million bid for the forward.
The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Hull, has been linked with a reunion with Marco Silva at Watford with the Reds believed to be looking to offload the player.
The Premier League transfer window has now closed though, along with several other European windows, but the Serbia international can still join a Turkish Super Lig club.
Turkish clubs are allowed to make signings up until September 8, meaning Fener are in the running for Markovic.
And according to the Turkish outlet Turkiye, Istanbul giants Fenerbahce have tabled an offer for the player. They apparently want Markovic on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy included in the deal.
Markovic, who signed from Benfica for £22.5million in July 2014, was immediately loaned out to Fenerbahce, before joining Sporting the following season on loan and then Watford.
He has failed to impress Brendan Rodgers and now Jurgen Klopp and he has been omitted from Liverpool’s Champions League squad.
And the arrivals of Mohamed Salah from Roma and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal have seen him slip further down the pecking order.
