Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury and will miss Saturday's trip to Stoke.
Defoe is Spurs' leading scorer this season with 23 goals in all competitions.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp confirmed: "It's a grade-two tear but it will be a few weeks. He is struggling."
He joins Ledley King (thigh), Jermaine Jenas (groin), Tom Huddlestone (ankle), Aaron Lennon (groin), David Bentley (groin/virus) on the sidelines, while Danny Rose (knee) and Kyle Walker (arm) are also out.
Defender Jonathan Woodgate (groin) and goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini (wrist/pelvis) are long-term absentees.
