The PFA Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year nominees are due to be announced on Monday - and we want to know your shortlists.

With the end of the campaign now coming into view, football's awards season is set to kick off early next week with the announcement of the Professional Footballers' Association selections for their Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.

Last year, Tottenham winger Gareth Bale walked off with the top gong, ahead of Carlos Tevez, Nemanja Vidic, Scott Parker, Rafael van der Vaart, Samir Nasri and Charlie Adam.

The winner of the Young Player prize was Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who beat off competition from Bale, Nasri, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Seamus Coleman and Joe Hart.

TEAMtalk is planning to discuss this year's contenders in a special Podcast on Monday, and you'll be able to have Your Say on the website too.

But for now, we'd like to know your shortlists for both awards - pick seven Premier League stars for the main honour, and seven starlets (must have been aged 23 or under at the start of the 2011/12 season) for the Young Player prize.

Explain why you've chosen each one and we'll include the best answers in our Podcast for further discussion!
