West Ham striker John Carew hasn't taken the news of his release at West Ham too badly as he takes in life on the Cote D'Azur.

Carew tweeted: "Bawse'n around La Croisette."

Former Middlesbrough striker Jan Aage Fjortoft, who is now a TV anchor, tweeted about Ole Gunnar Solskajaer turning down Aston Villa:

Fjortoft tweeted: "My opinion: Solskjaer did not do this for financial gain for himself or Molde. He talked to Villa because its of course flattering."
