Fleetwood Town's League Two pre-season preparations continued with a 3-3 draw against League One side Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.

Rovers enjoyed the best of the early exchanges but found themselves behind when former Preston midfielder Barry Nicholson broke into the area and produced a neat finish.

The visitors looked destined to pay for some wasteful finishing after Zoumana Bakayogo missed an open goal and David Ball punished them soon afterwards by extending Fleetwood's lead.

Ronnie Moore's side emerged after break with a little more threat about them and Bakayogo made amends for his earlier miss only for the Cod Army to restore their two-goal advantage through Andy Mangan.

But Tranmere dug deep and Ash Taylor headed them back into before Jonathan Tehoue equalised with 15 minutes remaining.
