Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj would be open to discussing a potential move to Manchester United, according to his agent Mario Giuffredi.
The Albanian full-back recently signed a new five-year contract with the Serie A club, but that has not stopped reports of a proposed transfer to the Red Devils circulating in the press.
“He [Hysaj] is in a quiet period, we have renewed his contract and this was a simple decision from all points of view,” Giuffredi told Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
“He’s having a good season but must reach the levels of last year.
“In a year he has played 60 games for both club and country.
“Now comes a bit of peace and he must raise the level of performances and as for Manchester United… well we will see.
“If they arrive with an offer which is tempting, we must take them into consideration.
“I do not say that it can be made in January, that would not be correct, but if an offer arrives we would think about it.”
