The Football League has ratified the takeover of Swindon Town by a consortium led by Banbury United owner Jed McCrory.
The League One leaders have enjoyed a successful time on the pitch this season but have struggled for stability off it.
Manager Paolo Di Canio resigned from his post on Monday, with the rest of his backroom team following afterwards.
Robins players Tommy Miller and defender Darren Ward have taken temporary charge of the team.
But developments behind the scenes have proved more positive, with the Football League accepting the consortium's future plans for the club following discussions between the two parties.
