Rising Ajax star Viktor Fischer will not resume negotiations on an extension of his current contract until the January.
The 18-year-old Danish striker has played just five league games for the Dutch giants, but has already courted rumoured interest from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Ajax offered Fischer a deal in the last fortnight, but the player's agent Soren Lerby has stated that there will be no official discussions until the New Year.
"We will continue to negotiate after the Christmas holidays," Lerby told Tipsbladet.
"Viktor is playing and that is good for him. That is the only focus right now."
Fischer scored twice on his full debut for Ajax, who currently sit fourth in the Dutch Eredivisie.
