Evian midfielder Eric Tie Bi believes patience could be the key against Vertou in Tuesday's Coupe de France round of 32 clash.

The Ligue 1 side face fifth-tier club Vertou full of confidence after they secured a draw against title hopefuls Lyon in their last match.

That result ended a three-game losing run in the league for Evian, and Tie Bi is confident they can use the result to their advantage against lower league opponents in the cup.

"We come into the game with a little confidence, following the draw at Lyon," Tie Bi told the club's official website.

"But we know that matches in the Coupe de France are different from the championship. We are ready for battle and we know that we must be patient against these teams (from lower divisions), even when we can not score quickly.

"These are teams that have nothing to lose in the Coupe de France and play the game of their lives.

"For us, we have to not to give them the opportunity to build up their confidence."

Meaux coach Samir Salah is preparing for the visit of top-flight club St Etienne following his side's 1-0 victory over Le Portel in the previous round.

Salah expects a strong line-up but thinks he has worked out which players ASSE coach Christophe Galtier could choose to play or leave out.

He said: "St Etienne is a pressing, attacking side. In my opinion, (striker) Brandao will play against us. However, I do not think Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will play."

Paris Saint-Germain will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adrien Rabiot and Thiago Motta for their match against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes due to suspension.

Meanwhile, Nancy will be without several players for their cup game against Nice on Wednesday.

Jeff Louis and Massadio Haidara look set to miss out with a groin problems while Ziri Hammar (knee) and Jordan Loties (suspended) are also unavailable.

Elsewhere, Ligue 1's Lorient will travel to Ligue 2 side Sedan while third-tier Epinal, who knocked out holders Lyon, host Nantes. Mende host Le Havre while Ligue 1 strugglers Troyes make the trip to fourth-tier Fontenay-le-Comte and Rouen host Marseille.

Wednesday sees Montpellier host Sochaux in an all-Ligue 1 clash, fourth-tier side Raon-l'Etape host Ligue 2's Istres, Venissieux Minguettes play Le Poire-sur-Vie while CA Bastia will look to claim another Ligue 1 scalp at home to Brest. Moulins play Bordeaux and Stade Bordelais host Lens in the other Wednesday fixtures.

In the only game on Thursday, Ligue 1's Lille take on Championnat de France amateur side Plabennec.
