AC Milan are believed to be considering a shock summer move for injury-plagued Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The 27-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot under Jurgen Klopp and that has alerted Milan as to his availability, according to reports coming out of Italy.
The England frontman had been linked with a switch to fellow Premier League side West Ham in January and there is a good chance that the Hammers will be back in for him in the summer, but Sturridge may feel that a complete change of environment will aid his career in the long term.
Milan’s interest comes from reports that the Italian giants are fearful of losing striker Carlos Bacca, who moved to Milan from Sevilla in 2015, with the Colombian hitman tipped to make a move back to Spain.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT claims that Sturridge will hold crunch talks with Reds chief Klopp to discuss his long-term future at the end of the season.
