Napoli midfielder Jorginho is being watched by Arsenal but has also caught the eye of Real Madrid, according to the player’s agent.
Arsenal were reported to have failed with a bid to sign Jorginho in the January transfer window, and the Gunners could face competition if they make another attempt to sign the Brazilian in the summer.
“Interest from Arsenal? It’s true,” his agent, Joao Santos, told Radio Kiss. “After the game against Palermo, compliments arrived from Real Madrid as well.’
“Only compliments, nothing more. But it’s pleasing to receive expressions of respect from one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.
“For the future, we’ll wait for the end of the season. Jorginho wants to win the Scudetto with Napoli, he’s enthusiastic about these last nine finals. I want to reiterate that his priority is Napoli.”
Jorginho is eligible to play for Italy having moved to the country at a young age, with the 24-year-old targeting a place in Antonio Conte’s squad for Euro 2016.
“Italy call up? I know Antonio Conte has his hierarchy,” Santos added. “We’ll see if he can find a way in, I don’t know what position he holds in the CT’s head right now.
“He’s available for the Euros and he’s obviously hoping for it.”
