The agent of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has confirmed that Arsenal are interested in a Serie A manager to succeed Arsene Wenger.

Italian agent Federico Pastorello has released an interview with paper Tuttosport in which he has made claims about a number of players and managers.

His most outlandish claim involves Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, whom Pastorello believes will make a big money move in the summer, with Real Madrid heavily linked.

“The most expensive transfer of the summer will involve Icardi,” Pastorello said (via goal.com).

Meanwhile, the agent – who represents Patrice Evra as well as Conte among others – also believes that Juventus will have no problem convincing Emre Can to join, and even revealed that Arsenal have begun searching for a new boss.

“Can is a top player, Juventus have the power to attract these kind of players, Marotta and Paratici are really good in doing these things.

“Sarri? I know Arsenal want him.

“Allegri? It’s hard for him to find something better than Juventus. But I know from experience that the best negotiations are carried out secretly.”
