Angry Neymar wants PSG star sold after dressing-room bust-up

Neymar reportedly wants his PSG team-mate Edinson Cavani sold after the pair argued during the weekend win over Lyon.

Catalan publication Sport claims that the duo rowed over who should take a penalty and a free-kick, with world-record signing Neymar eventually taking both.

However, the disagreement carried on into the locker rooms, with Neymar backed by his compatriot Dani Alves – who actually hid the ball from Cavani for the free-kick and then gave it to Neymar.

The report claims that Neymar has had enough of Cavani and has asked the club’s board to sell the Uruguay hitman in January.

An exit at the turn of the year looks unlikely, however, given that Cavani will have already played in the Champions League and will not be as much of a temptation to the bigger clubs to buy.

PSG boss Unai Emery is likely to have to try and broker some sort of peace deal between two of his star men going forward.
