Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is happy at the club and has no thoughts of leaving despite reports to the contrary, claim Sky Sports.
It was widely reported that the Italian was unhappy with the lack of progress made in the transfer market so far, with pre-season starting at the beginning of July.
Sky Sports understand that “Chelsea are confident Conte, who is currently on holiday, remains committed to the Blues and will return for pre-season in the first week of July as planned”.
After winning the Premier League title last season, the Blues will compete for the Champions League this time around and Conte will need additions to his squad to cope with the added fixtures.
It is understood that Conte has handed a list of key targets to directors Michael Emenalo and Marina Granovskaia, and recruitment efforts are ongoing.
Conte still has two years remaining on his contract that he signed when he joined the West London club last summer.
Conte was believed to be a target for Inter Milan and they reportedly offered the former Juve coach a lucrative 10-year deal.
Earlier this month Diego Costa claimed he had received a text message from his manager telling him he was no longer part of his plans and he could leave Stamford Bridge.
