Arsenal are said to be preparing for both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to leave in the summer, with the latter linked with a move to Spain.
The Daily Star believe that talks with the pair have stalled as they both seek wages in the region of £290,000 – which is double the amount they earn on their current contracts.
The report also states that Ozil has some regrets over leaving Real Madrid, while Sanchez has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid as he eyes a return to Spain.
The Gunners may be forced to sell both of their star players in the summer when they will have just 12 months remaining on their deals. In a further six months they would be free to speak to other non-Premier League clubs.
Ozil recently stated he wants Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal to be resolved before he commits to a new contract.
