Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Robert Lewandowski’s situation at Bayern Munich and are said to want Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
Arsenal have promised Arsene Wenger a transfer budget in excess of £150million this summer, according to the Sunday Mirror, after seeing another Premier League title challenge collapse this season.
Wenger has long been reported as an admirer of Lewandowski and is said to be willing to pay £50million or more to sign the Poland striker should be show any interest in leaving Bayern.
The 27-year-old hinted at the possibility earlier in the week, telling France Football: “Maybe I’ll play in England or Spain one day.”
Wenger is also interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl, the Sunday Mirror adds.
The Daily Star Sunday, meanwhile, says the Gunners will this summer attempt to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
Liverpool and Manchester City are also said to have had the 18-year-old watched this season, but the strongest interest apparently comes from Arsenal, who are preparing a bid of around £5million for a player that is already a full Scotland international.
