Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot is on a collision course with “annoyed” Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc.
Blanc has revealed his anger at Rabiot’s weekend comments after the 20-year-old midfielder asked for a loan move away from the French capital.
“It annoys me,” said Blanc. “I don’t want to say anymore and I’m going to concentrate on tomorrow’s match.
“Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going at the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it.
“Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”
Rabiot, who is believed to be on Arsene Wenger’s list of January targets, on Sunday said: “I’ve asked the president for a loan move in January if my time on the field is insufficient.“
The defensive midfielder has been a mainstay of Blanc’s side this season, featuring 14 times, but he has benefitted from the injury to Marco Verratti. The Italy international suffered an ankle injury in early November in the Champions League, but he is believed to be close to a return to action and Rabiot expects him to come straight back into the side and so has not wasted any time in asking for a temporary move.
Rabiot, who is contracted to PSG until 2019, was a target for Wenger in the summer and now with Francis Coquelin and Santo Cazorla injured, Rabiot is back on Wenger’s radar.
