Laurent Koscielny: Wanted by Man City and Marseille

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny is not keen on a switch to Marseille this summer, according to the latest reports from France.

The Gunners star had been linked with a move to the Stade Velodrome this summer, while Turkish outfit Besiktas and Premier League rivals Manchester City have also been talked of as potential suitors.

Marseille have been splashing the cash in recent transfer windows, following the arrival of former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Franck McCourt at the French giants, and are keen on bringing Koscielny back to France.

The 31-year-old, who has also been watched by clubs in the Chinese Super League, only recently signed a new deal with the Gunners until 2020 and has been a mainstay at The Emirates since 2010.

Marseille are now expected to turn their attention to former Milan flop Adil Rami, according to the report on Calciomercato.
