Moise Bioty Kean: Interesting Arsenal

Arsenal have reportedly been watching highly-rated 16-year-old Juventus striker Moise Bioty Kean.

The youngster, who has been interesting Manchester United and Manchester City has been in sensational form for Juve’s Under-17s this season, scoring 18 goals in 20 games.

His form has seen scouts from all over Europe making checks on him and Arsenal were represented in Vinovo on Sunday to see Bioty score twice, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Felice Tufano’s young Juventus side put in a supreme all-round performance to thrash Pro Vercelli 6-0 with Kean impressing with a second-half brace.

Kean, who has been likened to Mario Balotelli by some observers, has played for the Turin side’s Under-19s and despite being born in Italy he also qualifies to play for Ivory Coast.

“Apart from doing the stupid things, I really Balotelli him as a player,” said Kean in January.

“My roots are in the Ivory Coast, and I never forget it. But I have not yet had the opportunity to go there: I was born in Vercelli, and brought up in Asti.”

Fortunately for Kean, who does share the same agent, Mino Raiola, as Balotelli, it is his physique which is similar to the Italy frontman and not his volatile temperament.

Reports in Italy indicate that Juve are keen to tie down the youngster to a long-term professional deal, having turned 16 on February 28, to fend off potential interest from Chelsea and Liverpool.

Kean, who has represented Italy at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 levels, is predominantly a centre-forward, who can play as a No. 10, but he can also played out wide.
