Arsene Wenger says Aaron Ramsey is “very down” after injuring his hamstring during the win over Bayern Munich.
The Arsenal midfielder was substituted after pulling up during the second half of the 2-0 victory which re-ignited the Gunners’ Champions League hopes.
Wenger could not say for how long Ramsey would be sidelined, but the Welshman is sure to miss Saturday evening’s clash with Everton at The Emirates.
The boss said: “He’s alright but very down. He told me his hamstring is a very tough one.”
When asked whether Ramsey will miss the Toffees’ visit, Wenger replied: “He’s out, yes.”
