Chelsea target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits that he needs to leave Borussia Dortmund if he wants to “grow” as a player.

The Gabon international had another incredible season for Dortmund, scoring 31 goals in 32 Bundesliga matches to make him the top scorer in the league.

His prowess in front of goal has led to reported interest from Chelsea and AC Milan but Dortmund set any interested clubs a deadline of last month to make any suitable offers.

However, despite nobody matching their valuation, the 28-year-old has now revealed that he is considering leaving the German side.

“I am still reflecting on whether I should leave or not,” he told Radio Montecarlo Italy

“This club and these fans are incredible, but if I want to grow, I feel I need to leave.”
