Barcelona and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring the progress of Manchester United target Donny van de Beek.
The Ajax starlet is regarded as the one of the hottest properties in Dutch football, with former United boss Louis van Gaal having shown an interest in the 20-year-old that United have since retained.
However, TalkSPORT (via Sport1) claims that fellow heavyweights Barca and Bayern have not entered the mix for the talented midfielder.
The report claims that both clubs have had van de Beek, who has scored six times in 15 league starts this season, watched by scouts and are now in the running with United to snap up the player.
Ajax, however, will be able to claim a sizeable fee for the midfielder, with his contract running until 2020, and they will hope that a bidding war develops between three of Europe’s big names.
