Barcelona are reportedly prepared to wait before deciding whether to re-sign Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu this summer.
Deulofeu has revived his flagging career while on loan at AC Milan in the second half of this season and that had prompted Barca to consider taking up their £12million buyback clause on the player who joined the Toffees in 2015.
Barca’s sporting director Robert Fernandez has been impressed by Deulofeu’s form in Serie A and admits that the Spanish giants are considering bringing him back to the Nou Camp.
Speaking to Premium Sport, he said: “We have the possibility of re-signing him, in summer we will assess everything calmly, the most important thing is that he is playing well and that he maintains his level.
“At the [right] time we will take the correct decision.”
One things is for sure, Deulofeu’s career as an Everton player, at this stage, looks finished.
