Real Madrid star Isco has blasted the media for fabricating a story suggesting he could join Barcelona.
The playmaker has been in and out of Zinedine Zidane’s side this season and with just over 15 months remaining on his contract, the 24-year-old admitting he could consider his future in the summer depending on how much playing time he received.
Last week, Catalan radio station RAC1 reported that Barca had offered Isco’s representatives a €20m bonus if he moved to the Nou Camp on a free in 2018.
But Isco has responded to the claim: “We players are used to rumours, especially when there is less football during the international break, but I don’t know why some media have to invent things.
“I speak on the pitch and try to do the best I can for my team.”
