Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has admitted he is “excited” to hear about reported interest from Barcelona in his services.
The 22-year-old has been a key member of Arsene Wenger’s side for the last three seasons with him making 29 appearances for the club this campaign.
Having come through the youth ranks at Barcelona, Bellerin has been consistently linked with a return to the Catalan club.
And Bellerin says it would be hard to turn down the Spanish giants if they made an offer for him.
“Any player in the world would be very excited to know that Barca are interested, it is very nice to get recognised by Barcelona,” Bellerin told Spanish radio station Cadena SER.
“My departure from Barca was a bit bittersweet because of the treatment from some people.
“I was not treated the way I would have liked to but it is clear that if Barcelona are interested it would be difficult to say no.”
