Gokhan Tore: West Ham loan

West Ham have completed the loan deal for Gokhan Tore, according to the Besiktas president Fikret Orman.

The attacking midfielder arrived in London on Thursday and has reportedly passed a medical ahead of formally signing on loan until the end of the season.

Orman told a press conference: “We have loaned Gokhan Tore to West Ham, they made an offer and it appealed to us. We have a lot of competition for a place on the right wing with Andreas Beck, Gokhan Gonul, Kerim Frei, Ricardo Quaresma, Aras Ozbiliz and Olcay Şahan.”

Earlier in the week Jack Sullivan claimed that the Hammers will make their next signing by the weekend.

The Hammers will pay a £5million loan fee for Tore, 24, and they will have a buy-out clause option for the Turkey international at the end of his loan spell.

Besiktas initially wanted to sell Tore on a permanent transfer but reached a compromise with the Hammers who agreed to pay a loan fee.
