Birmingham City have announced that midfielder Reece Brown is set to leave St. Andrews once his contract has expired in the summer.
The 21-year-old’s deal runs until June 30 and Birmingham have announced they will not be renewing it.
“Blues can confirm that midfielder Reece Brown is not being given a new contract and has been released by the club,” the club stated on their website.
“Birmingham City FC would like to wish Reece well in his future footballing career.”
Brown progressed through the club’s academy and made 20 first-team appearances, with his debut coming as a substitute at Burnley in September 2013.
