Bordeaux’s Brazilian attacker Malcom says he is open to a move to Manchester United.
The 20-year-old was linked with both United and Liverpool by the Brazilian media in February after a string of impressive performances in Ligue 1.
Malcom has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 43 appearances this season and continued speculation has seen him linked once more with a move to Old Trafford.
Roma are also believed to be tracking Malcom, who is contracted to Bordeaux until June 2020, but he has claimed he could move on in the summer.
“Even when I was at Corinthians these rumours were already happening,’ he told Gazeta Esportiva when asked about the United talk.
“I have a calm mind about that. I have a focused thought on the pitch and I leave it to my agent and my family to take care of.
“Then, who knows, if a bid comes up I’ll think of leaving, but now I’ll just playing football.”
The Brazilian forward joined Bordeaux from Corinthians in a £5million deal last January and he has appeared for the Brazil U20s and U23s.
It’s not the first time Malcom has spoken about his future. In February this year he also claimed to be “calm” as his his representatives Elenko Sports whipped up interest in him.
And Elenko, who also represent Real Madrid’s Danilo and Roma’s Emerson, appear to be doing the same again with the summer transfer window approaching.
