John Terry: Time as a Chelsea player drawing to a close

Bournemouth are ready to target another Chelsea defender in John Terry after the Blues recalled Nathan Ake from his impressive loan spell.

The recall has left the Cherries light in defence and have been linked with Liverpool Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez in recent days, but the Daily Telegraph believe that they may also turn back to Chelsea in the hope they will sanction another loan move to the Vitality Stadium this month.

Terry, who saw his appeal to overturn a one-match ban rejected, has had very little first team opportunities at Chelsea this season but a loan to Bournemouth would give him more Premier League starts between now and the end of the season.

Bournemouth have already given Jack Wilshere to chance to resurrect his career and Terry may well be tempted to follow suit.
