Bradford City striker Devante Cole is poised to join League One rivals Fleetwood Town, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
Cole, the son of former Newcastle and Manchester United striker Andrew Cole, joined Bradford last summer after leaving Manchester City.
The 20-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester City, but did not make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club.
The England Under-20 international had loan spells at Barnsley and MK Dons last season, scoring five times for Barnsley and netting three times for the Dons prompting Bradford to make a move for him
Cole made a bright start to life at Bradford, scoring five goals in his first nine games, but he has found his chances in the starting line-up restricted in recent weeks and Phil Parkinson is ready to offload the striker on a permanent deal.
Fleetwood are in the market to bolster their attacking options during this month’s transfer window as they look to climb clear of relegation trouble in League One with the Cod Army just one point and one place above the drop zone.
Fleetwood striker Jamie Proctor, 23, could be set to head the other way on loan with Parkinson looking to end their goalscoring problems.
