Brendan Rodgers: Has his say on Liverpool's title prospects

Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is set to return to work – as a football pundit – following his sacking at Anfield.

The 42-year-old Northern Irishman is set to be on screen with Qatari-owned beIN Sports, according to presenter Richard Keys.

Keys was asked on Twitter whether beIN SPorts would be bringing in Rodgers and Keys replied: “We will be – yes.”

Rodgers was axed at Liverpool on Sunday after the 1-1 draw with Everton in the Merseyside derby with the Reds in 10th place in the table.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was quickly appointed as Rodgers’ successor on a three-year deal.
