Bristol City have agreed a deal to sign Wolves defender Scott Golbourne, sources have told TEAMtalk.com.
Golbourne has lost his place in the Wolves starting XI in recent weeks and Kenny Jackett is willing to let him move on.
Golbourne’s contract at Wolves was due to expire at the end of the season and Bristol City have moved to bring the defender back to Ashton Gate.
The 27-year-old began his career at Bristol City and the Championship strugglers are keen to have him back to boost their hopes of staying up.
Golbourne has agreed personal terms at Bristol City and the move is expected to be finalised once Wolves secure the signing of Mike Williamson from Newcastle as they do not want to leave themselves short defensively.
