Cambridge v Burton preview

Liam Hughes could be back in contention for Cambridge when title-chasing Burton visit the Abbey Stadium.

Hughes has missed the last five matches with a virus but U’s boss Richard Money thinks the midfielder may be back for the final game of the season.

Tom Champion could also return after missing the defeat at Oxford with a knee injury. However, Dominic Ball is ruled out after suffering an ankle injury last weekend.

Money added that youngsters Bobby-Joe Taylor, Ryan Horne and Matt Lowe are likely to be included in the Cambridge squad.

Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink expects to select from a similar squad as he looks for the win that will see his team crowned champions.

Adam McGurk returned from a cut eye as a second-half substitute against Northampton and the forward will be hoping to force his way back into the starting line-up.

Any changes made by Hasselbaink will be kept to a minimum but midfielder Matty Palmer and on-loan striker Denny Johnstone are others who stand a chance of being recalled.

Defender Stefan Maletic and striker Mickael Antoine-Curier continue to work their way back from hamstring problems and it is unlikely they will be included in the travelling squad.
