Pedro: Reported to want out of Chelsea

Both Pedro and Eden Hazard want to leave Chelsea, if you are to believe a certain Spanish website. But we don’t.

In a new regular feature, we take a look at the day’s rumours involving Chelsea, separating the wheat from the chaff to save you the trouble…

Pedro regrets ever joining Chelsea (various)

This story has got lots of traction today since the Daily Express picked up on an article published yesterday afternoon by chief rumour-mongers Fichajes, which claimed Pedro is unhappy at Chelsea.

The Spanish website says Pedro confessed to Cesc Fabregas in the Chelsea dressing room that neither the club nor the Premier League can compare to Barcelona and La Liga, which might be believable were it not for the fact that Fichajes also claims Eden Hazard has asked his agent to secure him a move away from Stamford Bridge.

That too could be true, of course, but for now we’ll err on the side of the caution with which any Fichajes story should be treated.

Pedro, incidentally, last week said he was beginning to settle in England after a difficult start.

“It’s hard. It’s very different to what I’m used to,” Pedro said. “But, little by little, I’m integrating more, adapting with my teammates and the team and that’s the most important thing.”

Arsenal and Chelsea target rejected offers from ‘big clubs’ to stay at PSG, claims agent (talkSPORT)

Mentions of Arsenal or Chelsea by Blaise Matuidi’s agent? None, but he does say that “Europe’s top ten wanted” the midfielder.

The only surprise is that the headline didn’t include the names of the two Manchester clubs…
