Manchester City will face Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Paris Saint-Germain after the Champions League quarter-final draw was made on Friday.
In the open draw in Nyon, Switzerland Manuel Pellegrini’s men were handed a two-legged tie with the Ligue 1 champions.
City defeated Dynamo Kiev to reach the last eight of Europe’s elite competition for the first time.
PSG, meanwhile, knocked Chelsea out as the French team look to add the Champions League to their domestic title.
City fielded a team of fringe starts and managed a goalless draw the last time the two teams met in the old UEFA Cup in December 2008.
Favourites Barcelona, who are on an 38-match unbeaten run, were drawn against La Liga rivals Atletico, while Real Madrid take on Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich play Portuguese outfit Benfica.
