Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to loan one of their young stars to Premier League side Newcastle.

According to a report from the Northern Echo, the Premier League champions have agreed a deal with the Championship champions to send Kenedy out on loan.

The report suggests that the two clubs have agreed terms on a deal for the 21-year-old, but like the summer Newcastle will have to wait until Chelsea bring in another player.

Kenedy has largely been used as a left-sided player in cup competitions since cracking the first team at Stamford Bridge, but with Antonio Conte reportedly in the market for a new player in the same position, he is expected to be allowed to leave on loan.

The Brazilian is below Marcos Alonso in the pecking order at the wing-back position, and with no signs that he will oust the former Fiorentina man, his game time will remain limited.

Kenedy landed himself in hot water this summer as Chelsea were forced to issue an apology in preseason after admitting Instagram posts by the former Fluminese man had caused “great offence and hurt the feelings of the people of China”.
