Helder Costa: Linked with a move to the Premier League

Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly set to battle it out for Wolves’ £20million-rated winger Helder Costa in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old has been highly impressive for the West Midlands side this season and is currently the club’s top goalscorer.

The winger started the season on loan at Molineux, however, his performances saw Wolves shell out a reported club-record fee of £13million to make the deal permanent.

And now the Premier League big boys are starting to take notice, with both Chelsea and Arsenal interested in the youngster, according to the Sun.

According to the report, Antonio Conte has admired the winger since the two clubs met in the FA Cup fifth round, while the Gunners are also keen. Both clubs even sent out scouts to watch Costa during Wolves’ 1-0 win over Rotherham in the Championship on Saturday.

Despite playing out wide for his side this season, the Portuguese under-21 international has been an attacking force for Wolves. In 27 league starts, he has registered eight goals and six assists.

He also played a key part in the club’s FA Cup scalp of Liverpool, grabbing two assists in the 2-1 victory.
