Porto midfielder Ruben Neves is near to completing his move to Wolves for a fee of £17.5million, reports suggest.
Neves has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Liverpool, but Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claim that his move to Wolves is all but done.
According to Record, Neves will travel to England in the next week for a medical and to put pen to paper with the Championship side.
Jorge Mendes‘ has ties with the Chinese owners at Wolves, something which is a big factor in the deal.
Neves used to be valued at £35million according to reports, but a reduction in playing time under Nuno Espirito Santo last season has halved that figure.
He had a high-profile meltdown last season when, against Roma, he looked set to be brought before being told to get back on the bench by Espirito Santo. The midfielder then broke down in tears.
Now, he appears set to be reunited with his former boss as Espirito Santo is the current manager of Wolves.
