Alexander Isak: Joins Borussia Dortmund

Chelsea and Man City will have to fend off two other European heavyweights if they want to sign 17-year-old sensation Alexander Isak.

Spanish publication Marca believe that both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are big admirers of the teenager that has been dubbed as ‘the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ after scoring 10 goals in 24 games this season for Swedish outfit AIK.

Real Madrid have not let their current transfer ban prevent them from making an €10.7million bid for the 6ft 2′ striker in the summer, who would have to go out on loan if they signed him or join the Castilla squad if the Spanish giants were able to successfully appeal the ruling on the transfer.

Isak is said to have even been given a tour of the Real Madrid facilities, while Bayern Munich have also been ‘relentless’ in their pursuit of the highly-rated forward.

With Real Madrid and Bayern Munich adopting aggressive strategies, it appears Chelsea and Manchester City have fallen behind somewhat in the race to sign the striker who only signed his first professional contract in February this year.
