Chelsea and Manchester United-linked Antoine Griezmann has stressed his happiness with life at Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann has been regularly linked with moves to the two Premier League clubs, with Diego Simeone admitting over the weekend that Atletico may have to sell the striker if he ever reveals a desire to test himself elsewhere.
“The sporting directors have been speaking to him directly, with those close to him, in order to work out what’s best for him and the club,” Simeone said. “Of course he’s a very important player for us, but we can’t hold him here with chains.”
Griezmann, however, has given little indication that he is considering a move away from Vicente Calderón Stadium.
“I am feeling very well at Atletico,” Griezmann told French publication Telefoot.
“This is a big club and I want to achieve great things here. I am ambitious and my goal is to win trophies here.
“I have become more mature. The club and my team-mates rely on me.”
