Chelsea are the latest club considering a move for Liverpool and Man City target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to reports on Monday evening.
The Gunners star is locked in talks with the club over an extension to his Emirates Stadium contract, which now has just 12 months left to run.
But the England midfielder is uncertain whether to pen the new deal with Arsenal due to a frustration at his lack of playing time under Arsene Wenger, with Oxlade-Chamberlain reportedly feeling he should be given a more regular role in the side.
The player has been heavily linked with a £40million move to Liverpool and Manchester City this summer, but Sky Sports say Antonio Conte’s side are now also considering a move for the 23-year-old.
Oxlade-Chamberlain made 45 appearances for the Gunners this season, but the majority of those came from the substitutes bench.
But the player illustrated his versatility by adapting to a right wing-back role under Wenger when Arsenal switched to a 3-4-3 formation, with the player excelling down the flank.
And it’s that versatility which is said to be of interest to Conte, with the Blues boss seeking strong competition for Victor Moses down their right ahead of the Blues’ return to the Champions League.
