N’Golo Kante has been named as the London Player of the Year in an awards ceremony on Thursday evening.
The Frenchman, who signed for Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, beat other stars from London clubs including the likes of Danny Rose, Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez and Dele Alli.
Kante has been in incredible form for the Blues this season with his ability to win the ball back and driving runs aiding Antonio Conte’s side in their quest for the Premier League title.

Chelsea currently lead the standings with second-placed Tottenham ten points behind and Manchester City a further point back but with a game in hand.
The midfielder, who has 13 caps for his country, was also a key part of the Leicester City side that won the league title against all the odds last season.
Conte also joined in the summer and his record of 20 league wins from 26 matches earned him the Best Manager in London award.
