Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering a sensational swap deal involving Eden Hazard, according to reports.

The Russian billionaire is willing to allow Hazard to join Real Madrid, but wants Marco Asensio as part of any deal, according to Don Balon.

The Belgian has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Bernabeu, with Real president Florentino Perez reportedly keen on adding him to a new-look forward line.

Asensio on the other hand is thought to be pondering a possible exit from Los Blancos over a lack of game time.

His recent comments suggest he is content for now: “It is difficult to manage a squad as good as our one, but Zidane knows he can count on me.

“I work hard every day to earn more minutes, but I am aware of where I am.

“I am at the best club in the world and I am happy at Real Madrid.”
